Each season, we are honored to offer the Golden Roots Scholarship—a unique opportunity for one guest to join us at Kumankaya Healing Center for a free 10-day transformational retreat.


This scholarship is our way of giving back to the community and supporting those who feel deeply called to the medicine but may not otherwise have the means to attend.


Applications are open August through April each year.



🌿 What’s Included

The recipient of the Golden Roots Scholarship will receive a full 10-day healing immersion, including:

  • 6 Ayahuasca ceremonies

  • A Master Plant Dieta

  • Traditional flower baths

  • Private intention sharing

  • Group integration discussions

  • Nourishing meals

  • Comfortable accommodations

  • 1 rejuvenating 50-minute Mayan massage

  • Free transportation to and from Tulum Center or Tulum International Airport

To apply for the Golden Roots Scholarship:

  1. Write a heartfelt one-page email explaining why you need this transformative experience and why you cannot afford to pay for your healing.

  2. Send your letter to info@kumankaya.com with the subject line: “Golden Roots Scholarship.”

  3. Applications are accepted August through April. At the beginning of April, we will review all applications and notify everyone—including the scholarship recipient.


Our focus is on supporting our community. Maybe there is someone you know who deserves healing but does not have the means to receive it—please share this opportunity with them.
